Connecting WooCommerce to Otomate

In Otomate, there are four different ways to connect your WooCommerce store: during catalog creation, in the catalog settings, while exporting a catalog, and in the profile settings.

 

Connecting WooCommerce when Creating a Catalog

When creating a catalog, you can attach a WooCommerce store and import products from it.

  1. Click "Create New Catalog" on the Dashboard or in the left sidebar, click the "+" icon, and then select "Catalog".

2. Give the catalog a name and click the "Next" button.

3. Select WooCommerce as the import option.

4. Click the "Create New Integration" button to connect your WooCommerce store.

5. Enter WooCommerce integration data such as the Integration name (whatever you like), URL, API Key, and API secret. Refer to the WooCommerce REST API documentation for managing the WooCommerce API. Optionally, you can make this integration your default WooCommerce connection by clicking the checkbox below. Click the "Save" button to continue.

6. Your products will automatically start importing from WooCommerce to Otomate in the background. The integration will be saved in the catalog and your profile settings for future exports and imports.

 

Connecting WooCommerce in Catalog Settings

You can create and add a WooCommerce store integration to your catalog in the catalog settings.

  1. Go to the Catalog settings.

2. Click the “+” button to add the WooCommerce store integration.

3. Click the "Create a new integration" button and select WooCommerce from the list.

4. Enter WooCommerce integration data such as the Integration name (whatever you like), URL, API Key, and API secret. Refer to the WooCommerce REST API documentation for managing the WooCommerce API. Optionally, you can make this integration your default WooCommerce connection by clicking the checkbox below. Click the "Save" button to continue.

5. Now the integration is saved in the catalog and your profile settings. You can use it for further exports and imports. Before exporting, we recommend setting up mappings, please read here on how to do that.  

Connecting WooCommerce in Profile Settings

You can add WooCommerce integration in the profile settings and use it for importing and exporting data.

  1. Click on the profile icon in the bottom left corner and navigate to the profile settings.

2. At the bottom of the page, you will find information about the integrations connected to Otomate. Click the "+" button to add the WooCommerce store integration.

3. Enter WooCommerce integration data such as the Integration name (whatever you like), URL, API Key, and API secret. Refer to the WooCommerce REST API documentation for managing the WooCommerce API. Optionally, you can make this integration your default WooCommerce connection by clicking the checkbox below. Click the "Save" button to continue.

4. Now the integration is saved in your profile, and you can attach it to catalogs and use it for imports and exports. Before exporting, we recommend setting up mappings, please read here on how to do that.

 

Connecting WooCommerce when Exporting a Catalog

You can seamlessly integrate your WooCommerce store with your catalog whenever you need to export products there.

  1. Click the export button on the catalog.

2. Select WooCommerce for export and click the "Next" button.

3. On the pop-up, click the "Create New Integration" button.

4. Enter WooCommerce integration data such as the Integration name (whatever you like), URL, API Key, and API secret. Refer to the WooCommerce REST API documentation for managing the WooCommerce API. Optionally, you can make this integration your default WooCommerce connection by clicking the checkbox below. Click the "Save" button to continue.

5. Before exporting, we recommend setting up mappings, please read here on how to do that. When everything is ready, click the export button and select WooCommerce. Your products will start exporting from Otomate to WooCommerce in the background. The integration will be saved in the catalog and your profile settings, and you can use it for further exports and imports.
